Terrain Drain Trip Review

Alyeska
Submitted By: G. Kerr

Overall impression of the riding: I rode there all season in 97-98. It snows alot because its on the coastline so it is warm. Cat tracks are good cliffs and jumps have flat landings bring a mouth guard. Only 5 lifts.Go up chair 6 go to right and its one big open bowl with jumps everywhere with flat landings, go to left of chair 6 and you have cat tracks. No park and no pipe. North face is the best when there is fresh pow.
Rank on a scale of 1 - 5 (Five being best, one being suckiest)
Overall Terrain: 3
Lift Service: 4
Mountain Personnel: 3
Attitude Towards Snowboarders: 3
Halfpipe: 1
Snowboard Park: 1
Recommendations for future visitors:
Secret Stash: Christmas chute on north face with 2 feet or more!
Best Lift: Chair 6
Local Shop: Northern Boarder also Boarderline
Restaurant: Chair 5 restaurant
Hangout: On the leather seats in the Alyeska prince hotel
Place To Stay: In a cardboard box on 3rd avenue, if all else fail
