Terrain Drain Trip Review

Bear Valley
Submitted By: Kit Smith

Overall impression of the riding: Bear Valley is a relativly small resort by Tahoe standards, but holds some of the sickest lines, largest natural hits, and always unbelivable amounts of snow. On a good powder day, which is quite often, riding the lower bowls is comparable to, if not better than most cat-skiing areas. If this isn't enough too satisfy You, then go grab a snowmobile and head out to a little place called Highland Lake's. This is some of the best backcountry terrain in all the land.
