Terrain Drain Trip Review

Queenstown: Cadrona, Remarkables and Treble Cone.
Submitted By: Anna Hopwood

Overall impression of the riding: Riding in the South of NZ was pretty rad but the lifts were slow and the terrain was pretty tired. Not many good riders but up North at Mt. Ruapehu the riding goes off. Heaps of hits around and the riders love to cruise it. Pretty shitty snow conditions this year due to the volanic explotions but what a buzz riding in lava!!!!!!! Definately worth a ride to all those riders who haven't tried it yet.
Rank on a scale of 1 - 5 (Five being best, one being suckiest)
Overall Terrain: 4
Lift Service: 4
Mountain Personnel: 3
Attitude Towards Snowboarders: 1
Halfpipe: 1
Snowboard Park: 2
Recommendations for future visitors:
Secret Stash: Out west the snows wicked and the hits good too
Best Lift: There all pretty shitty and slow :moro t-bar
Local Shop: BOA snowboards
Restaurant: Mountain Kababs
Hangout: Margarita's
Place To Stay: Wherever preferably boyfriends place
