Terrain Drain Trip Review

Loveland Basin on a weekday, Feb 3, 1999, 3" new snow
Submitted By: Craig Streetman

Overall impression of the riding: Great on a weekday, but I wounldn't want to be there with a crowd. Nice powderfields that gently mesh into the treeline toward the bottom of the runs. The much hyped and rarely running lift 9 was not up, of course. However, lift eight brings the rider to some pretty darn good snow and terrain. I'll come again, but not on Saturday with the rest of Denver. Oh, yah... pretty cool jumps in the terrain park.
Rank on a scale of 1 - 5 (Five being best, one being suckiest)
Overall Terrain: 4
Lift Service: 4
Mountain Personnel: 5
Attitude Towards Snowboarders: 5
Halfpipe: 1
Snowboard Park: 3
Recommendations for future visitors:
Secret Stash: today: Backside from lift 8--don't know the name
Best Lift: eight
Local Shop: I-70 weigh station
Restaurant: Dairy King, Empire Colorado (not queen, but king)
Hangout: I didn't come here to "hangout"
Place To Stay: In your truck
