Overly Detailed Instructions
Before entering our all new "Difficult - To - Use - But - Much - More - Functional" chat room, there are a
few things you should know: First, before getting into the chat room you must
Sign Up! by clicking the words Sign Up!. You
only have to do this the first time you enter the chatroom. Once you have a Login and Password you may enter them into the spaces provided below.
Before hitting the "Log Me In!" button, however, you must make sure you have the proper Software selected.
Most browsers work fine on the "Use Default" setting, however, the
best way to use chat is to Download the iChat Client.
The client allows you to enjoy all the iChat bells and whistles.
Secondly: If you're connecting to the Internet on a network which is protected by a FIREWALL
(i.e. most business networks), and you're not using the iChat plug in, then you must select either "JAVA(behind firewall) or HTML(behind firewall)
from the software selector.
Thirdly: If you're using Microsoft Explorer on a Mac G3/iMac you will not be able to use the chatroom
no matter what combination of settings you choose. You'll have to use Netscape and the
iChat Plug in. Of course, it's a small price
to pay for the pleasure one gets from using a INSANELY SUPERIOR computer.
Now, finally, you should be able to enter the Snowboard Online chat room. Enjoy.
