Morrow Snowboards Announces Clothing Agreement

SALEM, Ore-Morrow Snowboards Inc., a technical leader in the snowboard business, announced today that it has reached an agreement with Marmot Mountain Ltd., a technical leader in mountain clothing, under which Marmot will provide design, development and manufacturing services for a Morrow line of snowboard clothing. "We are very pleased to partner with a genuine leader in high-quality, technical outerwear," commented David Calapp, chief executive officer of Morrow Snowboards. "The combination of Marmot's reputation and expertise in clothing design with Morrow's solid position as a performance and technology leader in the snowboard business creates an exciting opportunity. "The introduction of our exciting new clothing line at the industry tradeshows this season will be the highlight of a broad expansion of our product line for the 1997-98 season," continued Calapp. "In addition to enhanced snowboards, we will show a new line of boots and new technical bindings. Reports from retailers are that our line is selling well this year and that our market position is improving and we are optimistic about continuing that trend in 1997." Added Neil E.
