| PRESTON, Wash., May 9 -- Ride Inc. (Nasdaq: RIDE) announced today the
new organization of its Winter Sports and Manufacturing divisions. "Ride's
Thermal Cap and Misty Cap light boards are on fire. By aligning the two
divisions, Ride will bring such high performance technology to dealers and
riders even faster," stated Robert Hall, president and chief executive officer.
The joint division of Winter Sports and Manufacturing will be led by Bruce
Manke, Ride senior vice president. Manke, based in Preston, Washington, will
continue to oversee Ride's Administrative division.
Girish Govind, production and quality control manager for the Ride Manufacturing
facility, located in Corona, California, has been promoted to the newly created
position of vice president of manufacturing. Girish, who graduated from
California Polytechnical Institute in Pamona, California, with a degree in
Industrial Engineering, has been a part of the manufacturing facility since
October 1992. He has held positions including quality engineer, production
engineer and director of quality control.
Since 1995, David Janes has successfully contributed to the growth and
development of a number of technologically advanced products while overseeing
the Company's state of the art board manufacturing facility in Corona,
California. Janes will continue to consult with the Company on advanced
manufacturing technology issues.
Strengthening Ride's presence internationally, Bernard Gervasoni will relocate
to Grenoble, France where he will lead Ride's advanced engineering efforts
as well as support Ride's growing European business. |
