LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. Oct. 22, 1996--Crush Innovative Sports Systems Inc. (NASDAQ BB:PCIE) on Tuesday announced that Norlander Inc., (Grunge) has delivered on time, the first run samples of the 4,000 pairs of production T-Bone compatible boots to Crush.

Crush has signed off and is now in production for the 1996-1997 Winter Sports Season.

Beginning Jan. 2, 1995, Crush Innovative Sports has been developing and snow-testing conceptual T-Bone boot/binding designs in order to create the best soft boot step-in system.

The technical boot has surpassed many milestones including: a contamination free T-Bone compatible sole, three part upper, quick lacing system, plastic injected molded pin-plate, tie-down pin, removable internal and external hi-back, adjustable forward lean mechanism and a two position power strap.

Four molds have been produced enabling Crush to offer the sizes: Eight, nine, ten and eleven in two styles: Free ride and Freestyle. Eighteen snowboard companies are awaiting snow testable samples which are expected to be delivered in mid-November. In addition, Crush has scheduled thirty on-snow demonstrations.

Lee Rogers, head coach of the USA Amateur Snowboard Team stated, "The system is bulletproof." Rogers has been personally developing and testing the system from the onset of the project.

Richard Perkins, president of Crush Innovative Sports Systems stated: "We believe that our design team has created the most revolutionary soft boot step-in system in the world. The completion of this system would have been simpler and far less time consuming if we had created a system where the stiff soled boot attaches to the binding or the boot attaches to an external frame.

"We believe that T-Bone is the only true soft boot step-in on the market that does not require an external hi-back. Crush now has exactly what the market has been waiting for."

CRUSH Innovative Sports Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pacific International Enterprises Inc. develops sports related products, based on its proprietary "quick release" fastening technology, for rapidly growing markets, including snowboarding and in-line skating. CRUSH products address the deficiencies of current products by providing superior levels of performance, comfort and convenience.
