Snowboard Life Top 25: Morrow Blaze

November 6, 2000

A perfect board for showing off, the Blaze is not the first choice for dainty riders, according to Kurt. A two-time award winner, this stable ride had Neal exclaiming, "It rode like a bat out of hell, turned quick, was snappy, and had the power I like."

"Im amazed that this 165 did it all at so many different speeds," Kevin noted.

According to Sales Manager Greg Hughes, input from teamrider Billy Anderson led Morrow to change the core to a multi-density wood/urethane combination. The board also has more internal dampening and a new, modified radial sidecut. Kurt pointed out, "The stiff-ass tail takes some work." Definitely a board for more aggressive ridersnot for lightweights."
