Snowboard Life Top 25: Nitro Team

November 6, 2000

The board that Neal praised in the park and pipe, and Kurt called the "power all-arounder" is the same stick that Canadian Guillaume Morriset rode to the top step of the U.S. Open halfpipe podium (see "An Open For All Ages" on page 56).

Designed by Nitros U.S. pro riders, the Team performed in more than just the park. Lisa gave it the all-terrain nod, saying, "This board felt like it wanted to ride."

Because it is a pro-level board, it takes some effort to get the Team turnin. But, as Kurt added, "The return is worth it. Its damp, but you can get some snap if youve got the guns [legs] to decamber it." The Team is best for strong riders with technical ability. Oh, Guillaume rides the 152.
