Snowboard Life Top 25: Ride Profile

November 6, 2000

"Turns on a dime and gives you nine-cents change," says Product Manager John OConnor of the Profile. A board-test veteran, this model uses M1 woodcore construction, which eliminates weight without softening the board.

A good ride for advanced to expert snowboarders, the Profile is the number-one choice of Rides pro team. Kurt agrees, stating, "This board is the all-around choice for the more technical rider."

The Profiles unique design features more sidewall in the center of the board where your feet (and weight) are, tapering out at the nose and tail. This design allows for quick turning and grippy edge hold, while the lighter tail is great for jumping.
