Now that we've all seen the movie Swingers, everyone and I mean EVERYONE is itching to learn the jitterbug. Even guys that swore only listen to punk, or rap (you know who you are!) can now be seen gazing wistfully at the dance floor in clubs like the Derby. But the cocktail nation and all the die-hard swing kids have been at it for years now and so have The Big Six. The line-up is comprised of former members of so many terrific bands that there are too many to list! What separates The Big Six from the "ska-rap" pile is their jumpin' combination of doo-wop, and swing. Yeah they're a little off kilter with their garish matching plaid suits and their British accents (they're from the other side of the pond, you know) but who cares? When they take the stage, or command of your CD player for that matter, it is impossible to keep your feet beneath you 'cause you'll be dancing the minute they belt out the first "wham-bam-boom, wham-bam-Sha-Boom!"
