Mammoth Mountain has announced that it is opening October 31, 2000 for people to get the chance to ride in Octover.

Mammoth invites everyone to come up and start the season on Mammoth's Broadway Express. The mountain has an 18 inch base with early season obstacles and early season lift tickts are just $43.

Thunder Bound Express, Face Life, and Discovery Chair are expected to operate this weekend.

Mammoth's Opening Day Celebration is still November 9 with lots of fun-filled festivities including the Guinness Book of Records attempt at the world's largest snocone.
