Coaches and visiting pros: Along with their staff consisting of mostly pro riders, their visiting pros are also involved with coaching. On any given day you may have the opportunity to be coached by: Todd Richards, Daniel Franck, Tricia Byrnes, Jennie Waara, Joe Curtes, Hillary Mayberry, Peter Line, Athena, Leslee Olson, Josh Dirkson, Jenny Jousson, Jody Adcock, Dave Downing, Kalei Pitcher, Wendy Wyvill, Marisa Stoller, Terje, Satu Jarvela, Nicole Angelrath, Ross Peterson, etc. . .along with your regular coach.

Lodging and Amenities: HCSC offers chalet or lodge-style housing depending on price. Some of their features include: TV and VCR in living area, video library, video games, telephone, washer and dryer, lockers, and a live-in house monitor. They also have a wide selection of off-hill activities; skateboarding, street skate park, wakeboarding, mountain biking, white water rafting, camp store, paint ball, rafting, etc.

Unique aspect: Location. HCSC is right in the center of town and is just minutes from the chairlifts. HCSC also treats its employees with the utmost respect and pays them "look them in the eye wages" this of course means if the coaches are happy then the campers will be ecstatic. HCSC is the only camp that offers sessions at Mt. Hood Meadows which allows the camper to not only develop half-pipe skills, but also free-riding skills. Lastly, HCSC offers camps specifically for adults in the winter and in the summer.

Inside Line:"Club Med. Even though HCSC is big and crowded they make up for it in a number of ways. Everything about the camp, from it's food to it's coaches, is first rate. Although there are more campers here then any other camp, there are tons of coaches and staff running around happy as can be and doing their jobs. Just when I think that they can't get any better, they prove me wrong. They are always finding ways to improve their camp. You can look at it this way- the reason HCSC has the most campers is because of their reputation as a first-class camp. Oh yeah, their staff rules!"
