Morrow Promotes Greg Hughes September 27, 2000
Vashon, Washington � Q: What do you get when a water truck and a vinegar truck crash into each other? A: You get a new, fresh Morrow management. Greg Hughes has been promoted to sales and brand manager at Morrow Snowboards making him responsible for overseeing the marketing and international sales. �Greg is, and will continue to be, the voice at Morrow in international markets including Japan. This is a logical fit for the Morrow brand to further our multi-branded approach to the snowboard business,� says Brent Turner, K2�s VP of snowboards.
Hughes has been the sales manager at Morrow for more than two years overseeing the transition when K2 bought Morrow. And before that he was a Morrow Sales Rep in the Mid Atlantic states and New England for eight years. �Greg and I work great together, and now he is being recognized for his role in product direction and marketing feedback,� says Rebecca Herath, Morrow�s Marketing and Team manager.
Morrow has also added a new rep for the Northwest territory. Andy Keating, formerly of Sims Snowboards, will be covering OR, WA, MT, ID, and AK. �Andy has some great relationships with stores in the Northwest and we�re glad to have him as part of our crew,� says Hughes. Keating also runs Influence Clothing, a skate brand based in Kirkland, WA.
