By Press Release

June 6, 2001

Vancouver, BC, Canada The crew at Option Snowboards and NFA Boardgear are pleased to once again announce our involvement as main sponsor and distributor of the Alterna Action Films, 16mm snowboard movie Still Struggling.

Last years video The Struggle, produced by Carlo Wein of Alterna Action Films, and gave us an outlook on the local Canadian talent and the mountains they ride. After a successful sell-though and the hype that surrounded the video, comes the long awaited sequel Still Struggling (The Struggle 2).

This years video showcases some of the best and up-and-coming talent out there, rider appearances include: Mike Page, Kevin "Snack-A lot" Sansalone, Daniel Franck, Joni Malmi, Joni "Mak in Black" Makinen, Chris Brown, Jon "Cartwheel" Cartwright, Andrew Hardingham, Rio Tahara, Scotty "Good Bar" Goodale, Carsten "Charles" Bohnson, Keir Dillon, among others.

Shot at various locations such as Whistler/Blackcomb, Mt.Baker, Hakuba (Japan), and Mt.Seymour, this years movie is proving to be one of the premier snowboard flicks of 2002.

Option-NFA is also pleased to announce that it will once again be distributing Still Struggling throughout North America and Europe, while ChampionVisions will be handling distribution in Japan.

Aaron Macdonald of Option-NFA "I saw the 3 minute teaser in Vegas, and thought, damm this is one nice flick, I cant wait to see the other 37 minutes of it. "Some of the hardest working riders in the industry packed into one film, Carlo the hardworking Mexican did a nice job", states Kevin Sansalone.

Still Struggling, a 16mm film by Carlo Wein, is sponsored by: Option Snowboards, NFA Boardgear, Version Optics, One Track Snowboards, Snowboard Canada Magazine, Whistler/Blackcomb, 686, Thirty-Two Snowboots, and Etnies Shoes.
