PR:Belligerent Makes Deal on the Hellywood Stock Exchange

10/28/98

HOLLYWOOD, Oct. 28 -- Belligerent Bindings has teamed up with The Hollywood Stock Exchange (www.hsx.com), to provide the online market maker with prizes for their "Thrills & Chills" Scary Movie Contest.

To enter, traders cast their vote for their favorite scary movie from a list of 10 horror films. One lucky winner will receive a 1999 Belligerent snowboard and binding set. Five runners up will win a VHS copy of the film that was selected by the HSX community as the "all-time scary movie."

Traders will find a haunted HSX.com when they log in this Halloween. "The Hellywood Stock Exchange" incorporates gravestones, swarming bats, spooky costumes and bone-chilling screams. Douglas Scott, VP Sales and Marketing stated, "This was a fun way to get into the Halloween spirit and transform our site into an online haunted house. Our traders love the horror genre and recognize the box office earning potential. These dollars translate into big profits for our traders' portfolios."

Traders are confident that horror films will continue to bring in strong numbers at the box office. This is confirmed by the increasing value of some of the most popular MovieStocks. As the release of John Carpenter's "Vampires" (VMPRS) approaches, the price has reached over H$40 a share. "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" (IKNO2), starring Jennifer Love Hewitt (JLHEW), is trading at H$49, up H$10 from last week. Traders anticipate that this sequel will do better than the original.

The Hollywood Stock Exchange (http://www.hsx.com) was launched in January of 1997 by HSX Holdings, Inc. HSX has over 150,000 registered traders worldwide, acting as the entertainment industry's leading box office indicator. The Company's consumer business model includes advertising, sponsorship and targeted electronic commerce, while the business-to-business franchise includes market research for the entertainment industry and the syndication and publishing of original content.
