Comment: "I changed my plans (after missing the Olympics). I rode some powder at Tahoe, did some filming, and got back into the fun of snowboarding. Then I crashed in about three contests in a rowI couldn't pull it togetherso I took a break and went home just before the Open. I went to Japan and was gonna ride a pipe but the snow was no good, so I only got eight runs, so I focused on my training. I went to the Open looking to just enjoy it. Coming back from Japan, I went from hating it to things being so swe-e-e-t, and I got to drop in after Terjehe's so rad to watch, so inspirational for meand I landed all three of my runs. From crashing just before the Open, something was pushing me all the way through. Maybe third time's a charm, huh? It was pretty cool."
