Everything you always wanted to know about but were afraid to ask.

Delaney Snowboarding

Kevin and Brian Delaney have been teaching folks how to snowboard in Colorado for over seven years. Their famous two-day camps in both the Vail/ Beaver Creek and Aspen areas are booked well in advance each season.

First-time snowboarders benefit from the Delaney Quickstick, which helps with balance and turning (not to mention how well it works when you're trying to get up!). Most "never-evers" are linking skidded turns by the second day.

The two-day camps are open to all skill levels, and judging from the number of repeat campers, the Delaney staff can make any rider better.

On top of the extensive schedule of its two-day camps for riders of all levels (including a women's camp), Delaney Snowboarding also offers a few other unique programs:

Tune-Up-this one-day session is an ideal way to brush up after some time off the snow; it's not open to beginners.

Integrated Snowboarding-a three-day course offered at Beaver Creek which is essentially the usual Delaney camp with additional sections focusing on special indoor movement-awareness analysis featuring the Feldenkrais Method. Coupled with on-snow instruction, the movement-awareness techniques greatly improve riding skills and balance.

Powder Quest-three days of awesome catboarding at Irwin Lodge, near Crested Butte. The combination of pristine powder, Delaney coaching, backcountry education, luxurious accommodations, and gourmet meals make the Powder Quest a great learning vacation.
