Everything you always wanted to know about but were afraid to ask.

How is the food?

At Windell’s it was like Thanksgiving dinner every night. Chicken, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, salad, and fruit. On the last night of session, thye had a big ol’ barbecue with the works. In the morning, you make your own lunches from a bunch of stuff they have available. In Government Camp, the closest town to Timberline where High Cascade is located, there’s the Village Store for all your basic sundries, and the Huckleberry Inn ("Huck’s") for the best milkshakes in the world. For health nuts, the closest thing you’re gonna get to civilization is the Three Sisters Espresso Bar (which also carries health-food items like Clif Bars and stuff like that) and the Brew Pub, which has pretty good pizza. And of course there’s Dairy Queen just ten miles down the street in Rhododendron.

What are the beds and stuff like?

Bunks are the norm, and some rooms are pretty jam-packed. Let’s put it this way—you’ll be too tired to care where you sleep.
