Everything you always wanted to know about but were afraid to ask.

High Cascade Adult Snowboard Camps

The volcanic peaks of Oregon serve as ground zero for what has become a summertime ritual-the congregation of snow-jonesing teens taking the edge off the dry season with a weeklong fix of corn snow. One place they head is High Cascade Snowboard Camp, which hosts riders in the winter, spring, and summer.

But High Cascade offers more than freestyle-flavored teen camps. In fact, HCSC boasts the longest-running adult snowboard camps in the country. For over seven years, John Ingersoll and his staff have offered sessions for adult riders of all levels, from never-evers to steeps-savvy veterans.

The adult sessions have an entirely different focus than the regular camps, which tend to revolve around pipe riding, skate sessions, and run-of-the-mill teen antics. Featuring a low student-to-coach ratio (about five to one), High Cascade's adult sessions ensure the individual attention riders need to boost their learning curve. The off-hill activities are also geared toward a more mature crowd, including fine dining, brew-pub tours, golfing, and a full-service athletic club.

The flow of teenagers making its way to Oregon keeps on growing, but with HCSC's adult sessions, kids are hauling their parents along for the ride. Call 1-800-334-4272 for more information on High Cascade's winter, spring, or summer sessions.
