DeeLuxe Announces Factory Team

June 7, 2001

Denver, Colorado: DeeLuxe is proud to announce its Factory Team line-up for the season 2001/2002.

Tommy Czeschin, Ron Chiodi, Zach Horwitz and Kim Stacey join current Team members Zach Diamond and Tom Flocco to create a world-class team of riders.

"DeeLuxe has always been known for great product. Now we add a critical marketing component with our new team. We believe that this team solidly establishes our position as a serious brand and our long-term commitment to the sport. The energy in this group of riders will not only create a powerful marketing presence, but add to our legendary product design and development resource," said Scott Mellin, CEO of KDR.

"Our new Team will be on-snow throughout the summer testing new products for 2003. We are about a year ahead of other brands in terms of R&D; and design � note our revolutionary Freak TT boot that we introduced this season."

Tommy Czeschin � the number one ranked halfpipe rider in the US and X-Games silver medallist, Tommy is a heavy medal favorite for the 2002 Olympic Games.

Ron Chiodi � 1998 Olympian, fourth in the 2001 US Open quarterpipe and numerous film appearances, Ron is one the most recognized riders in the world.

Zach Horwitz � US Snowboard Team member and halfpipe specialist, Zach is currently ranked eighth in the US.

Kim Stacey � former FIS World Champion and US National Champion, Kim took the title at the 2002 Sims Invitational.
