The third annual Master Technician's Workshops will be held October 26 and 27 in Santa Ana, California and are co-sponsored by SNOWboarding Business magazine.

The curriculum of these one-day workshops includes: customer service, backshop repair techniques, World Cup waxing techniques, and performance insole systems and their retail application.

There will be a few guest speakers helping out with the different topics as well. SIA Retailer Of The Year and Wave Rave Owner Steve Klassen will present his Sparc selling system and provide tips on up-selling, stoking your customers, servicing repeat clientele, and gaining referrals.

In another seminar, former Salomon World Cup Racer Service Technician Tom Reinerth will take the mystery out of waxing techniques and share waxing tips from the racing circuit.

There will also be a comprehensive demonstration of all the hand-tool workshops need to know about including: edge replacement and base patches, base welding and repair, edge beveling, edge polishing, and helicoiling T-bolts and T-bolt techniques.
